| ShopIreland.com was set up in July 2006 as an attempt to divert a small part of the vast amounts of money being spent online every month into what we believe are highly worthy casuses. ShopIreland.Com is NOT a charity itself but is a business. The main selling point of our business is that as a company we are prepared to divert 50% of our revenues into charitable causes. We hope that through this goodwill selling point we will be able to generate enough business to sustain a viable company. Obviously we depend on you the consumer for all our revenue but the important thing to remember is that IT COSTS YOU NOTHING. All the goods you buy on the websites we advertise are exactly the same price as if you shopped at the website directly. Our commission comes from the online store who is prepared to give up part of his profit for a sale.
